| Description: | 72 hours per pay period and 80 hours per pay period. |
| Duties: | Coordinates the plan of care, provides direct age-appropriate nursing interventions, and patient education by collaborating with ancillary and other patient-team personnel. Directs LPN's, C.NA's and ward secretaries/technicians. Works under the supervision of the nurse manager and or nursing supervisor. Specific to the Family Center, the RN provides comprehensive, family centered care in the areas of antepartum, low and high risk obstetrical patients, medical/surgical patients, well newborn and selected high risk newborns. |
| Qualifications: | Graduate of an approved RN, ADN, Dploma, or BSN nursing program, with a current Colorado or Compact nursing license. BCL required, NRP required withing 6 months of hire. Ecompasses a wide range of nursing, psycho-social and medical inofrmatin with includes nursing process, communicatins and problem solving, assessment and prioritizing skills. |
