| Duties: | Uses acceptable standards of practice based on nursing process and theory to help the individual/family/group, with complex and unpredictable needs, identify and meet basic age-appropriate health needs. The nurse coordinates care of the individual/family/group using a multidisciplinary holistic approach. Promotes a climate in which consumers can act in their own interest or intervenes when they are unable to do so. Uses the nursing process and theory to provide age-appropriate individual/family/guardian/ designated surrogate education using a wide range of teaching activities to promote health. Works to achieve desired health care outcomes by effectively utilizing human and material resources. Is accountable for the ethical, legal and professional responsibilities related to nursing practice across all the roles, within the scope of practice. Directs the team of CNA’s, LPN’s and Telemetry Technicians. Works under the supervision of the Nurse Director and/or House Supervisor. |
| Qualifications: | Licensed in the State of Colorado or a Nurse Compact state. ACLS and PALS within 12 months |
